This decoration idea is perfect for Easter

For seasonal decorations, you don't always have to buy new. Creativity offers a sustainable alternative. Even egg cartons and eggshells, usually available in abundance, can become beautiful Easter decorations. With a few tweaks and some additional material, they can be transformed into spring-like candle holders for Easter. The upcycling of such everyday items not only saves money but also protects the environment. The personal touch of the homemade decorations also creates a unique atmosphere. A simple and beautiful way to increase the joy of the festivities while protecting nature at the same time.

Easter Decorations from an Egg Carton

Have you ever thought about making candles from eggshells that provide the perfect base for your Easter decorations? Nestled in an egg carton and adorned with decorative natural materials, you can create an eye-catching Easter decoration for your table, console, or windowsill with little effort.

You will need:

Egg carton

washed eggshell halves

Soy wax

Candle wick set

Decorative eggs

Feathers

Moss

Here's how:

Step 1:

Carefully wash out the eggshell halves.

Step 2:

Stick a candle wick into each shell half and hold its position in the middle using the wick holder.

Step 3:

Melt Soy wax in a water bath and then carefully pour it into the eggshells.

Step 4:

After the wax has hardened, you can decorate the bottom of an egg carton with the finished egg candles as well as, for example, with decorative eggs, feathers and moss.
