Make sure to accurately capture both the door leaf dimensions and the thickness of the door to ensure that the new door fits. 2. Measure the rebate dimensions with the measurement aid: Alternatively, you can print out and use the measurement aid to accurately measure the rebate dimensions of the frame. This method ensures that your new door fits perfectly into the existing frame and that the distance to the wall and floor is correctly taken into account. Both methods guarantee that you choose the correct door size for a precise and accurate installation.
How can I determine the direction of the door swing?
The direction of the door swing can be easily determined, as the door can be used for both DIN left and DIN right. To change the direction of the swing, only the door hinge needs to be rotated. This allows the door to be flexibly adapted to the desired opening direction.
Is the loft door also suitable as an exterior door?
Our loft doors are designed exclusively for indoor use. They are not suitable for outdoor use as they do not offer the required properties for protection against weather conditions.
How is the installation of loft-style glass doors carried out?
The installation of the loft-style glass doors is done in a few steps: First, the existing door must be unhinged. Then, the frame parts are loosened and removed from the door jamb. Next, you insert the new loft door and tighten it. Remove the cover of the existing strike plate and screw the new universal strike plate firmly at the appropriate height. This way, the loft door is securely and stably mounted to provide an elegant and functional solution for the interior.
