How do I determine the appropriate size for my door?
To determine the appropriate door size, you have two simple options: 1. Measuring the existing door: Take the dimensions of the already installed door by measuring both the width and the height. Make sure to consider the exact door leaf size and the door thickness so that the new door fits perfectly. 2. Using the measurement aid: Alternatively, you can print out the measurement aid to precisely capture the rebate dimensions of the frame. This method ensures that the new door is optimally integrated into the existing frame and that the distance to the wall and floor is correct. Both procedures ensure that you get the right size for an exact and precise installation.
How can the door swing direction be determined?
The direction of rotation of the door is flexible and can be set for both DIN left and DIN right. To change the opening direction, simply flip the door hinge or the door pivot. This allows the door to be easily adjusted to the desired direction of rotation.
Is the loft door also suitable for outdoor use?
Our loft doors are specifically designed for indoor use and are therefore not suitable for outdoor use. They do not have the necessary properties to protect against weather conditions.
How is the loft-design glass door installed?
The installation of loft-style glass doors is straightforward and can be done in a few steps: First, the old door is removed. Then, the frame parts of the door jamb are loosened and removed. In the next step, you insert the new loft door and tighten it. Afterwards, remove the cover of the existing strike plate and attach the new universal strike plate at the correct height. In this way, the loft door is securely mounted and provides a stylish and functional solution for the interior.
Do the doors provide sound, odor, or thermal insulation?
Yes, the doors provide effective sound, odor, and heat insulation. Their insulating properties are equivalent to those of a conventional wooden door, making them a reliable solution for noise reduction, protection against unpleasant odors, and good heat insulation.
